Lent
Lent is a season of returning to God with honest hearts, open hands, and a deeper hunger for His presence. This year, we invite you to journey through Lent together as a church family.
Over this season, we will embrace both individual and communal practices centered on prayer and fasting or abstaining, allowing the Lord to search us, shape us, and draw us closer to Himself and to one another.
Our path will be guided together by the Psalms of Lament—ancient prayers that teach us how to bring our whole selves before God. In these psalms, we find language for sorrow and struggle, confession and longing, trust and hope. They remind us that faith does not ignore pain but carries it honestly into the presence of God.
Communal Practices
You are invited to participate in the following Lenten offerings as we journey together through this sacred season. Lent is a time to slow down, make space for God, and prepare our hearts for the hope of Easter. We encourage you to prayerfully consider engaging in one or more of these communal practices.
Psalms of Lament
During Lent, each Sunday in our worship gatherings, we will read a Psalm of Lament together, allowing it to shape and focus our prayers for the week ahead.
We will also gather on Wednesdays to pray through these Psalms as a community, with three online opportunities available each week. Find more info HERE to join others from our community for Wednesday prayer.
